Trenton city council approves repairs to sewer main


TRENTON, Mo. - The city of Trenton has approved some much-needed repairs. The Trenton City Council approved plans to repair a flood damaged sewer main this week.

City administrator Ron Urton told KXCV/KRNW that Muddy Creek flood waters eroded the bank out during last Spring’s flood and exposed the sewer main on one side.

Urton said the city council looked at several repair options and chose repair designs by the Howe Engineering Company. The cost estimate for the repair project is $84,000. The next Trenton City Council meeting is scheduled for Feb. 10.
